The new iPhone update is with Apple for review. What this means for you

Questions, answered

A few things
worth knowing.

From your first day to your next invoice. If your question isn’t here, we’re here to help.

The new app

Is Days & Dues available yet?

The redesigned Days & Dues version 3.0 is awaiting Apple review. The App Store listing may still show the previous name until approval and release. The screens on this website preview the update.

Do I need a new account?

No. Keep using your existing login. Your account, clients, work records and existing subscription continue with the update.

Will my saved invoice numbers change?

No. Existing saved invoice numbers stay as they are. Newly created invoice numbers use the new DD prefix and continue the existing sequence.

Getting started

Who is Days & Dues for?

Self-employed people who want to keep client details, work, time, expenses and invoices together. That includes creative freelancers, consultants, tutors and local service businesses. See examples for different kinds of work.

Can I use it for remote work?

Yes. Work locations are optional. A project or appointment can happen online, at home, at a studio or at a client’s address.

Which devices does it support?

The app is built for iPhone and requires iOS 17 or later. This website introduces the app and provides help; it isn’t a browser version of your workspace.

Do I have to use voice or AI?

No. You can enter work, time and expenses manually. AI processing asks for consent in the app. When you use AI-assisted day logging, check the suggestions before saving.

Does it include online booking for my customers?

No. You can plan your own appointments and work in the app, but Days & Dues is not a public booking or scheduling website for clients.

Trial & billing

Will the app trial turn into a paid subscription?

No. Eligible accounts receive a one-time 72-hour Pro trial after setup, without payment details. It ends without charging. A paid Apple subscription starts only if you choose it separately.

How much is Pro?

The current UK App Store subscription is £7.99 per month. Local pricing appears in the app before purchase. Paid subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled through Apple.

Which currencies and tax rules does it use?

Invoices currently use GBP and tax estimates follow UK sole-trader rules. Estimates depend on the records you enter and should be checked; they are not a filed tax return or personalised advice.

Records & privacy

What happens if I have no connection?

Some records and pending changes are kept locally, but signing in, AI features, subscription checks and cloud syncing need a connection. Reconnect and confirm your work has synced before relying on another device or removing the app.

Can I export my records?

Yes. The app includes record export in Settings, and invoices can be exported as PDFs. Keep copies you need for your own business records.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings in the app and choose account deletion. This removes your account and synced app data. Cancel any Apple subscription separately first if you no longer want it. Read account help.

Where can I read about data and AI processing?

The privacy policy explains the information the app uses, its service providers and your choices, including optional usage statistics.
